Who Else Does Not Like Google News
Belgian cort ordered Google to remove all references to Belgian publishers in its Google News database and also remove such data from Google’s cache, GoogleWatch reports.
Accorting to the [tag]court [/tag]order [tag]Google[/tag] must also publish “the entire intervening judgement” on the homepage of google.be and news.google.be for five days, or else face a heavy fine.
In this blogger’s opinion, this whole issue is absurd.
Why would any news publisher, who feeds, thrives and depends on his or her website visitors would actually ban Google from driving a heavy traffic to the news section?!
Maybe they have forgotten a simple fact: [tag]Google News[/tag] service displays only a small portion of the story along with the link to the source. So why should anyone give up on potential visitors?
